Like I said above, thanks for sticking with me, sorry about the gap between entries.  I’m swamped with projects (a good thing!) but I’m hoping to have some catch-up posts soon!

Thanks for reading, I love you!

This is the invitation I worked on with our dear friends Jeff and Annalisa.  They were a joy to collaborate with, and really are two of our closest friends.  The above image is the one they finally went with, but see below an early working version which I also liked.

Another lovely couple I was able to work with was our friends Olya and David. Like Jeff and Annalisa, David and Olya are a very stylish couple with a very strong sense of self.  So they chose to send out two different invitations.  And here they are!

Two more close friends were kind enough to let me be a part of their special day, Gilbert and Julia (who sang at my own wedding and brought the house down).  They had a very unique idea of putting their wedding program on a hand fan--perfect for their tropical beach wedding.  Both Gilbert and Julia are gifted dancers, so here’s a few early versions of their fans.

Another fun project wasn’t for a wedding invitation or program, but rather a wedding gift from the bride to her groom.  A very sweet friend, Amanda, had me draw her (complete with nurse’s hat) and her husband to be riding off into the sunset on her beau’s dream motorbike.  A very fun project for a very kind person.

Another wedding gift project was painted by me, as a gift for a couple of our very very dearest friends (in a dead heat with S & M for our most missed faraway couple) when Erik and Yuriko got married on a perfect New Year’s Eve.

As I watched them make their lifetime promises to each other, I could only hope I would have a love that beautiful to share in my life.  I am blessed to say I have finally found it, and was so lucky to have Erik at my side while I did so, Yuriko, snapping some of the best pictures we got. Thanks to all my friends whose marriages are an inspiration...

Do you have a wedding coming up?  I love working on wedding stuff, and hope to be a part of your special day!  Shoot me an e-mail and let’s work together!
